A date diff is not easy to do in InfoPath out of the box. I believe you'll need to write custom code or use qRules for that functionality. If you are just using total time then your formula will just look something like:
totalField * numUsersField * (percentField/100)
Hope this helps!

Perhaps you can have a temp variable that stores number of questions and based on your answers you can calculate via rules how many questions there are.

Sorry. but I'm a little confused in what you are trying to do exactly? Are you trying to retrieve the document ID of the entry you just created with your button? Are you trying to open the form? Could you elaborate some more? Thanks!

Sounds like a combination of filters and rules should do the trick for you. You can create a filter on the repeating table in the properties that will filter out only entries where a particular field equals your search field. Then you can have buttons for each row that you can click to "select" which will run rules to set the ...

Are you seeing this problem in the browser or client? If its the browser then this doesn't surprise me as I've seen this before. I don't have a hard fast technique that works all the time, but usually clearing everything and reapplying the borders will work for me. If your view isn't too complicated I would try ...

Hi there,

Each time a postback occurs the people picker controls to redraw on the screen causing that "flashing" that you see. The best way around this is to prevent as many postbacks as possible on ...

Interesting find! I played around with it and confirmed the same behavior you are seeing in 2010. I was also trying to find a workaround for you, but alas I came up with nothing that seemed to work for me. You should report that as a bug to Microsoft and meanwhile I'll let you know if I manage to find a solution that will ...

Does outlook just need to launch? I believe a mailto hyperlink should launch outlook as long as its your default mail client on the machine.

Hi there,
Your current design is what I would recommend for you in your scenario. As long as you have a way to detect whether the opening form is the new vs. edit case, then switching to a read only view is a good best practice. Just make sure that the rule you are using is reliable meaning the field that the rule is based off will in ...

There should be a key=title that will return the job title of that person. Just filter based on that key and that should work for you. Let me know if you have run into any problems and I'll be glad to help!
