I am using IP 2007 so this was in Tools > Options, General tab and that did the trick. I knew it should be possible to do, so thanks.  I needed to be pointed in the right direction!

I noticed when I view a print view on the screen any shading I've applied shows up but the actual printout of the view removes the shading.  Is there a way to print shading that I've applied?  I tryed to add shading with conditional formatting and directly....neither retains the shading on the printed paper ...
