Ok, fair enough. Please try the following code:
Set firstOrderNode = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:Order")
Set newNode = XDocument.DOM.createNode("element", "my:UID", "http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2009-03-30T14:13:12")
Set nextNode = ...

The ExecuteAction approach to adding nodes does not work for repeating sections that are inside other repeating sections and I'm assuming my:Order is repeating and that's why you're getting the unspecified error. I also think you are correct in surmising that InfoPath is trying to insert my:UID after my:Info and that is why you are ...

To clarify, the XML file contains only the form's data, not the form itself. For users to be able to open the form in InfoPath, the template (XSN file) has to be in a place (e.g. on a web server, file share, etc.) where all of the form's users can access it.

No, the default value only has an effect when the field is created (e.g. in a new form or when the field is part of a new row in a repeating section).
If you uncheck "Update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated," it should be fine.
-
Or you could specify userName() as the default value for the field.
Fields' rules only execute when the value changes.

The title and first sentence of your post really have almost nothing to do with your actual question, and it doesn't really make sense to me to use a checkbox instead of a button for this purpose. Having a checkbox that says "No Show" and deleting the entire group instead of hiding it is misleading.
Nonetheless, if ...

For the duplicated first line issue, this line is the problem:
XPathNodeIterator children = parent.Select("/d:ApplicationAccess", this.NamespaceManager);
Please try changing it to
XPathNodeIterator children = parent.Select("d:ApplicationAccess", this.NamespaceManager);
(forward slash removed) or
XPathNodeIterator ...

Yup. One other option would be to leave the first line Hilary mentioned the way you already have it and change the second line to this:
newNode.SelectSingleNode("@Applications", this.NamespaceManager).SetValue(auxDomNode.Value);

I think you want something more like:
not(my:BrandManager = /my:myFields/my:Misc/my:Current_User)
or perhaps
not(../my:BrandManager = /my:myFields/my:Misc/my:Current_User)
If you want to actually hide the radio button as opposed to disabling it, you can place it inside a small Section control bound to the same node as the radio button or ...

Sounds like you're using an absolute XPath expression in one of your SelectSingleNode statements, or something along those lines. Could you post the latest version of your code so we can have a look?
