So - you could use any one of those fields as a data source for a dropdown (see attached screenshot) but you can't combine them. It sounds like you want to combine them (just the selected values) - but that can't be done out of the box. It would take code - and list forms don't support code. It may be possible to modify the XSL for the ...

What field(s) have the values that you want to display the selection of in another dropdown? This may not be possible - if it is a single field that allows multiple selections, that can probably be done - but this is a list form and we can't use code, and we can't select non-repeating main data source fields as the source values for a ...

Any chance you can attach your template under the options tab in a reply? I usually understand questions better when I see the form.... If you are just looking to hide options in a dropdown if they have been previously selected (like in a dropdown in a repeating table) I'm attaching a sample - you can save the file locally & right click to ...

Ah- that is because the total field being used for the sum function was not from the secondary data source (I think). Try this.

I'd change the submit rules - right now you always submit to the list and to email. You need a helper field - for example, you could add a status field, and set it to submitted on the first submit, then have your rule to send email only run if status != submitted.... does that make sense?

Any chance I can see your form? You can attach it under Options in a reply.... my guess is that the actual value for "Item" is going to be an ID, not a text value.... since it's a lookup. You may have to get the ID from the secondary data source providing the values to the lookup.

Under the Data tab in the ribbon, find the Submit Options. Change the Submit Options to use rules. Your first rule should be to set the Status field to Submitted. Your second rule can submit the form.
