I discovered why you were unable to attach the form - because it's large, over 34MB in size. I received your 7 emails with each of the files, but when I try to open the form, it crashes InfoPath.
I haven't seen such a large InfoPath form in the past, and I would recommend that your first step should be to investigate why the form is so ...

Forms designed off of a database allow you to submit right back to that same database.
If you want to modify your form's schema (for example, by adding a new field) that data cannot be submitted to that same database.
You'll need to write a web service that submits to the database.
Previous discussions all point to similar ...

When you go to File > Save As, try selecting other formats. In InfoPath 2007, I can save as either 2007 or 2003 format. I imagine that for 2010 you could save the form as 2010, 2007 or 2003 formats. See if one of those different formats will work with your IPFS. Good luck!

When you click the Reply button (not Quick Reply), you'll see a tabbed view. Click on the Options tab and you'll be able to attach a file.

Sounds complicated. There must be an issue with the rules. Would you be able to attach the form, via the Options tab, so we can take a look?
As far as entering a few letters into a dropdown to reduce the options listed, InfoPath doesn't possess this feature.

I think the key is in the InfoPath version or computer configuration. Can you make sure that the user with troubles has the same InfoPath version as the other users?

Hi Debi,
At first InfoPath can be tricky. You want to select controls from the taskpane and add them to the canvas. But as you expand your knowledge you might find that it's easier to design the data source first, and then design the canvas. So, for example, if you know you're going to want some fields in an optional section, then you can ...

You're right: printing InfoPath controls is usually an ugly mess. What I typically do is have two sections. One section is for data input, with all the controls.
The second section is for printing, using Expression boxes to display the data in a nice, orderly fashion.
In your form, you'll need to provide a mechanism (a rule, for example) ...

It sounds like the fields have become unbounded (unlinked) from the section. This often happens with repeating data. Maybe you could attach your form? (you can do this via the Options tab when you reply)
I'm attaching a sample form myself and perhaps that helps. As you'll see, I have an optional section that contains a field and is not ...

Submitting to SQL is a classic InfoPath problem. Here's what was discussed in an earlier thread:
If you create your form using an XML Schema
(File->Design...->New from Blank) you can't submit directly to a
DB. That's because the schema is XML and not based off SQL data types.
Submitting directly to a DB after ...
