  • Re: Populate field with Date

I discovered that if I change the data type from Date (date) to Text (String) that the minutes do not get displayed.

  • Re: Populate field with Date

Thanks, but I have already done these steps. The text box displays the date correctly when I enter it or use the Calendar control, but when the text box gets filled from the Rule associated with a Dropdown list the time is shown. I think that I probably need to do some type of conversion in the xPath formula, but I don't know how.

  • Populate field with Date

I am trying to populate a text box with a date value from a secondary data source connected to SQL Server. The date shows up with a time value that I do not want to display. How can I make only the date display without the time? TIA Dean

  • Populating Fields from DD List

I'm trying to populate a field with data that is in columns available from a secondary source coming from SharePoint. DataSource has 3 columns: ID, Cost_Code & Title. • Re: Populating Fields from Drop down

I attempted to use the HowTo article, but I'm a little bit confused about the following step. Select the option to Edit XPath (advanced), modify the XPath by appending an XSL conditional statement at the end to match the following example. xdXDocument:GetDOM(''Clients'')/ClientInfo/Clients/Client/Name[../ID = current()] When I use ...

  • Re: C orrect Syntax for SQL

What I mean is that when a SQL statement is written in other tools, such as Access or SQL Server, double quotes are not put around each part of the statement i.e., I'm used to seeing dbo.jobmaster without any quotes at all.

  • Populating Fields from Drop down

I am attempting to populate several fields from the values returned from a secondary source connected to SQL Server. The first time I select from the drop down, the text boxes get filled correctly, but when I select another item from the drop down, the text boxes do not get updated. Any idea where I should look to figure out what is wrong?

  • C orrect Syntax for SQL

I notice that when I create a connection to a database table, the Edit SQL box shows each field in quotes as well as each part of the table name, i.e., ''dbo''.''JobMaster''. Since this is not the standard method of using quotes, I am puzzled as to what the syntax critera are for InfoPath. I am specifically interested in what modifications I must ...
