Chances are your form is set up to use the InfoPath 2007 object model. Code that uses thisXDocument is using the InfoPath 2003 object model, which is considerably different. But even in InfoPath 2007 you can work in the 2003 object model by changing the programming language to "C# (InfoPath 2003 compatible)" in the form ...

Hello,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I'm not familiar with this issue, but I believe the instructions are telling you to put the DLL in the bin folder of the QdabraWebService site, so it looks like on your machine that would be:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\QdabraWebService\bin
Please give that a try and let us know ...

It looks like your form is set up to use the the 2007 InfoPath object model, which requires different objects to access the data source than what you have there.

Well to start you off,
1. (@Delivery_Quote - @Fully_Loaded / 60)
2. (@Actual_Zone_DT / TotalNumberOfLifts + 10)

((@Delivery_Quote - @Fully_Loaded / 60) + (@Actual_Zone_DT / TotalNumberOfLifts + ...

Where is this calculation being performed? Is it in InfoPath or in SQL? InfoPath doesn't really care what the schema type of a field is when performing arithmetic operations. If it's SQL, can you give us some idea of what type of query you're using/what sort of SQL entity you're querying?

What swathip is suggesting is that you modify the XSD file in the template's source to change the data type, but why do you need the field to be a specific type?

Good job finding out about preserve code blocks. I'm not that knowledgeable about the topic, but I gave it a try and unfortunately it doesn't seem like it will work in this case. The special relationshp between the master and detail controls means that when the master part is in a preserve code block, the detail control ...

Hey Ben,
Glad it worked out. You can actually find out the namespace URN of any node (typically all the nodes in your main data source will have the same namespace), by opening the node's properties in the Data Source taskpane, and looking at the Details tab.
I couldn't come up with a great response to your other ...

It's not the smoothest solution, but please try the attached XSN.
How I did it:Open up the Master repeating section's properties, click the Advanced tab and get the control's ViewContext ID (something like CTRL1_5)Save the template as its source files and open the XSL file that corresponds to the view where this Master/Detail ...
