You are setting a people picker? I think you need to set both the account id and the display name.

I see from the message you sent me that this is SharePoint Online. Many REST services are blocked in SharePoint Online. You may want to give FormsViewer a try - that's a Qdabra product that replaces InfoPath Forms Services, and has several options for connecting to REST services. Learn more here.

Well.... You could re-purpose some other list fields for helpers. The issue is you have repeating data, and you need to update each instance. So you could include some list fields you don't need in your data connection, and (for example) set a rule on ID to reset the date fields to the format you want. Set ID to 0 in a form load rule (or ...
Last note: FWIW the field is configured for DateOnlyType, not date and time.
In SharePoint, the actual data type is datetime. That's why you end up with the blank time. SharePoint is just displaying date only, and not asking for time values when the data is entered.

So - just to make sure I understand what you are trying to do - you need to get values from Default Values based on Country and Sales Org? I'm sorry, I'm just super confused at this point about the data relationships. Are you saying you need to get a value from Default-Values where the country matches the country selected in the form or ...

You won't be able to use code in a browser form on SharePoint Online, sandbox has been deprecated... so yah, you are going to have to take a codeless approach.

Not to my knowledge - I think the ribbon in list forms is all or nothing.
-
So - it isn't that the fields are read only - it is that they don't exist at all. :) You can just continue using this approach and leave them blank. I usually get a node from the sample data and clone it instead, because that way all the fields are there. As to the rule on field1 running - I think it won't run since the field is ...
