I've used PowerShell for this before - if the files are in SharePoint, I would copy them locally first...

You'll need to use code or third party tools for this, I think - although it may be possible with SharePoint workflow or MS Flow. The attachments are stored as base64 strings in the XML. FormsViewer has built in capabilities for saving the attachments out to another library, so if you are using browser forms, this may be your simplest option.

Is the form published to a library? As you walk through the publishing wizard, you can select columns to promote - and one option is to allow the value to be changed from the list (i.e. demoted fields). The rules in the form won't run, but you can then update the info in the promoted fields and when the form is re-opened in InfoPath, it should ...

So - I see you found a work around, that's great. NaN stands for not a number.... Here's a blog post that may be helpful in the future: http://www.braintrove.com/id/71

So - the merge option for promoting properties works for repeating fields (it doesn't care if they are bound to a table or a section) but it merges each field separately. You could try adding another field to your repeating group in the schema (doesn't have to show on the form) that concats all your values together - then promote that ...

In your first formula I see some "smart quotes" that could be causing your issue - try removing those and typing them into your formula editor again. Also - I would probably not use a formula to format a date time - you can just add a calculated value to display it, and then set the calculated value control to date/time and set the ...

I can help you with that.... I'm not sure what the error is, but you can email me via the forum and I'll get it fixed for you. Go to this link: http://www.infopathdev.com/members/Hilary-Stoupa.aspx and click on "send Hilary Stoupa an email" - let me know what you want it set to, ok?

I must have been unclear. What I was asking was about the supervisor field in the secondary data source. If your employee field is just the display name, that's fine - but I thought you wanted to populate a people picker in your form for the Supervisor? To do that, we need the Supervisors account ID and display name.
-
Looks like the manager / supervisor column in the secondary list is not a person / group type? I think it won't be possible to set a people picker with that info... what are you storing in that column in the list? Just the display name?

Did you perhaps attach the wrong template? This form just has a title & attachments field on the canvas.... with no secondary data connections at all?
