Is this in the browser or filler? Is the form submit set to not overwrite? You may want to query the library for anything that matches on form name before submitting, and then either display an error message on the form, or in a pop-up if filler, and stop running rules if you have an existing form with the same name.

Is the submit handled in the code for the form? If so - we'd need to see it to be able to guess the issue.

I tried this on my SharePoint online site - an InfoPath browser form with a date picker and a text box bound to the same field - the date picker shows the US date format, the text box set to display the UK format - and without making changes to my settings, it just worked. If you want, I can try publishing your form up to my site to see if it ...

Found it - looks like the difference is that this is hardcoded in the XML. When I was just testing, I was setting the link via rules.

So - multi-selects are going to be an issue. They are bound to a repeating field in the form's schema, and there is no rule-based way to add nodes. Dropdowns should be ok, just keep an eye on what you have as the "value" setting for the dropdown (i.e., if you are storing an item's ID in one form, you'll want to set up the ...

I added a calculated value with a suggestion for how to manage the store - I'm simply counting each field if it meets the criteria. Save locally, right click and select design and from there you can preview. The calculated value control is causing an error in the design checker (this is an annoying InfoPath bug with filtered values in ...

Any chance I can also see the Excel formula? I'm having a little trouble understanding your description of the calc - if anything in red is greater than or equal to 0% and less than 25%, score is 1 for that item?
