Again, the two things to watch out for:
1. Is your data connection (to submit) allowing overwrites?
2. Are you sure that the file name is not being recreated when the second user updates the form?
For example, try this: submit a form, note the file name, update the form, note the file name. If the file names are different, then your rule to set ...

Hi Donna,
If your queryml looked like this:
concat("<query database='#SampleDB#' table='Projects'><filter><eq><column name='Projects'/><value>", field1, "</value></eq></filter></query>")

You could email users a link to the library. They'll click the link, go to the library, then click on the document so that it opens in the browser. It's an extra step, but I know of no way to open the form in the browser directly from the link in email.

There are other tutorials available online; a Google search will reveal plenty. Once the data connection is set up, you'll have to set up filtering to ...

The first thing I would check is the data connection and the unique name.
If the unique name (email and date time stamp) is getting updated when the second user edits the document, then that would explain the new record in the library.
The unique name must only be set when the document is first created, and the data connection set to allow ...

In my experience, InfoPath doesn’t retain these sample values and they have to be entered all over again. It would be actually be nice if it retained these values as it’s a pain to keep re-entering them when a data connection needs to be updated.
If this other database is identical to the original one, there’s no need to run the sample ...

Maybe I've oversimplified this, but this should be possible. See the attached template for a sample.

If the value is in the XML when you open in Notepad, then there must be something happening when the form opens in InfoPath.
Anyway, maybe the solution is to disable the form from opening in InfoPath?
Sorry, I'm out of ideas!

If I have understood the scenario correctly, you have one installation of DBXL and want to use it as both Dev and Production.
To accomplish this, you’ll need two doctypes and two sets of tables. So let’s begin with the DEV tables. Let’s assume your DEV document type will map data to these three tables.
