Hi Chinacat456 and welcome,
It's easy to do this with our Doc Deployer tool and the free trial version of DBXL. Probably take you an hour. Here's a link to docs on our Doc Deployer tool: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/document_deployer/default.aspx. After you read the overview, look at the sample project in the doc titled ...

Hi Sanjay,
This is an old thread. Nowadays, we recommend people use qRules to copy from one table to another. It's very easy to do. Jo-Anne's recent blog describes the technique of using insert and rules to do this: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry58577.aspx. We're going to be posting another document in the next ...

Hi Stacey,
How are you switching the view? You can use InfoPath's open rules to do this and it doesn't require code or SharePoint Designer. Should be a piece of cake.
Simple stuff. Forms->Tools->Open and Save->Rules->....(add a rule with field condition an action that switches the view if the field for read-only is true) ...

Hey Rob,
This is like 10 lines of code. Surely, you can learn how to do this on your own. This forum is for people with InfoPath issues, not freeloading requests to people to do your work for you.
Best,

Too bad InfoPath doesn't let you add New Record as an action to a rule since then you could set the value after that as a separate rule/action.
Have you tried to set a default value for Relayview? Just go to the data source and double click it and click on the Fx for the default value and add XdExtension::<yourfunction name>. In ...

Why can't you just call the GetUserProfileName Web Service? That doesn't require code.

Hi KC,
Well, you can call the function from a rule and change your Submit button to be Rules and Code and just have two rules - one that calls the code function and another that submits. Depending on the function, you may be able to do it without code (just using the XPath macro language which comes with InfoPath). Either way works. To call the ...

Hi Maarten DB,
This is strange and we've only ever seen this behavior of your XML loses the Processing Instruction at the top that tells your computer (and SharePoint) that it's an InfoPath document. You should take a look at the XML in notepad and see if it's correct. If not, it could be due to various factors - but in SharePoint ...

Hi Nick,
Why are you writing code to do this? Just use the e-mail data connector. No code means less maintenance cost. Nothing in your code is special. You can do it all with out-of-box rules and data connections from the InfoPath Designer.

You just need to relink the forms. When you move the XSNs (the form templates) from your doc lib, they need to have their Publish URL updated. Easy to do by simply republishing to the new site. Then, the XML forms that were created for them need to be relinked. SharePoint provides a relink option. After you do those two things, you should be good ...
