Have you looked at stsadm.exe or the SharePoint object model?
Qdabra Software has a SharePoint / InfoPath accelerator (DBXL) that supports programmatically deploying content types and we can show you a demo of that if you are interested.
Best regards,

There used to be a couple third party vendors - UniqueWorld in Australia and a firm in Korea that had tools, but I believe both efforts are mothballed (defunct).
If you just need to view the forms, it's easy to do that without Form Services, but to submit them via a browser, SharePoint's Forms Services is the best game in town.

Hi Rich,
Just add rules to both the Booking Date and Timeslot fields that query the database when a value is entered (if the Timeslot and Booking Date are also present, respectively - that's a condition). Add a secondary data connection for this (don't use the main data source if you have a database backed form). Then, the query ...

Hi Nathalie,
It could mean that they have their font size set different from yours but that would show other problems. Printer drivers are typically hardware dependent and printing support in InfoPath is atrocious (it's essentially the same as IE5).
Sorry I don't have an enlightening reply. I recommend that you add page breaks earlier ...

Hi DaveMC1969 and welcome,
The InfoPath Form Services shipped as a standalone install in 2007 but that product was discontinued. Today, the best way to submit InfoPath forms in a Web App is to use SharePoint which comes with an InfoPath Web Part that allows you to create very rich SharePoint web apps that leverage InfoPath and it's wonderful ...

Hi DaTVT and welcome,
Have you considered just using a link behind a button to accomplish the same thing? You'll have to hardcode it to your Search page, but that would be easier than hijacking javascipt on back. You could make the button really big on your form and put a screentip on it so that when users hover over they see "click here ...

Hi Garcia,
As far as I know, you can't pass XSL to XML. XSLT hacks in your view (custom commands) can be used to sort tables and do other things but they are not recommended because sometimes they do not roundtrip when you save the form. Use the xd:preserve control to make sure they roundtrip but this renders the section not editable in the ...

Hi KC,
There is a reference to the w3c site that has the XML references - on the main InfoPathDev page click resources in the right hand side and explore that area. You'll find it. Custom xpath functions is not going to work here. You need qRule's date diff function. It's a piece of cake. Just install the free trial, inject it in your ...

Hi Andonia,
You could do this on the Exchange server if you have access to the development platform. That would be a solution for the entire org, but would require a small amount of code.
If you're looking for a solution for a standalone laptop that has both Outlook and InfoPath installed, I recommend using a VBA macro that launches. ...

Hi Srinath,
Can you please be a little more descriptive? 26 fields values of what? 1 form? What are the 6500 fields? Is that one form or 250?
I'm going to guess and say you have 26 fields in 250 forms. Why do you need to merge these to get them into a SharePoint list? First of all, is the form template for a 2010 List Form or for a 2010 ...
