I wonder if on re-open InfoPath in the browser is doing ... something to the inner HTML of the rich text that is causing this. Have you checked your other forms that have similar logic? Are they still all working as expected? I wouldn't expect a validation rule to cause issues - those are different from action rules, as long as the value is ...

Nope - you could make your own by using checkboxes and a ton of rules, but I would not recommend it. :)

Didn't get a chance today, I'm sorry - I should be able to tomorrow. :)

I'll try to post a sample later today (since you won't be able to connect to my SharePoint site, I'll dummy up some data sources) and see if I can better describe what I'm getting at. I think your products should stay in their own list, for sure - but I think you could increment the actual invoice number from the library the forms ...

I think I would try to test this in design mode in preview, so I could find out what field might be changing. Since browser forms sometimes behave differently than filler, browser issues don't always reproduce in preview, ...

If you walk through your submit data connection (Data Connections > select the submit connection > click Modify) when you get to the place where you set up "To" and so on, you can click the fx button to select a form field - that's what I did. In the dropdown, if you right click it, and select the dropdown ...

Oh, wonderful - so glad I could help!

Save the linked file locally and then right click and select design to open in design mode. I changed your email connection to use field7 for the To address. I also added a sample dropdown where the display is a name (made up) and the value is an email (also made up). Hopefully this will give you some ideas for how you might implement this. :)

Is this a list form? Or a form published to a library? I'm a little confused by your description - when you are getting the max for creating the invoice number, where are you getting it from?
