Last » Auto generate unique ID Hi, I have a requirement to generate unique ID for each infopath form in 2007, when it is loaded. The format of ID is CX0000000001,where CX remains constant and all the number part are padded with zeroes. For the next form loaded, the ID should be CX0000000002 and goes on like....... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by donstephen on 06-08-2014 Re: Populate on the specific row check box on button click Hi Rommel, Since you are working with a repeating table, you would need to use hidden field along the row in-order to set values for each rows. Using your sample template, I used a trigger rule to set field1, and from there, set the Boolean field to a certain value If field 2 is equal to "Reject". Please check the modified sample ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by donstephen on 06-08-2014 Re: Enable/Disable functions Hi Bheem, For cases like this, I would recommend using a hidden field which will hold the current user's account ID (username()). After having this field, you can query the use profile service, and if the returned value for the department is for example not equal to Sales, then you can set your fields to be disabled using a formatting ... A quick solution to prevent the user from changing the value on the first drop-down list is by adding a Formatting rule. Your guidance has allowed me to create the following sample code of my Subroutine that utilizes & manipulates the setup of a default XML connection titled "XML Connection". I think we can consider this one resolved. Cheers and have a great ... I'll look over your provided resources and see if I can put something together. More to come and thanks again! Here is what I would do if this were my form. I would: Add a new receive data connection to my form using the data connection wizard. This would connect to an XML file. For the location, I would put in the URL of an XML that is the created by the form that you want to copy data from. I would set the ...
