Users who do not get any results can access the web service via the browser so thats ok. My webservice does query SQL, these are my connections:SqlConnection sqlCon = new SqlConnection("Data Source=(local);Database=C_A_D_Data;Integrated Security=True"); SqlConnection sqlCon = new SqlConnection("Data ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by JeniEck on 11-20-2009 Re: Infopath Form using Webservice: returns results for me but no-one else Hi, All the data connections in my form use the full address to the webservice. If this was the problem I'm guessing it wouldn't work for me from my normal machine but it does, which is why I thought it may be some kind of permissions issue. Any other ideas? Jen Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by JeniEck on 11-20-2009 Infopath Form using Webservice: returns results for me but no-one else Hi, I have form that uses a webservice (deployed via GAC) to return a series of results. I have tested this form from the server and I have now published it to a sharepoint library so other people can test (just for acces, no details are saved to the library) and it works perfectly for me. However, everybody else can access the form with no ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by JeniEck on 11-20-2009 Re: Displaying results returned from a webservice Solved this issue! :-) The returning dataset in the web service was defined as 'Table 1' so infopath was looking for Table_x0020_ 1 and therefore not matching everything up. Interestingly I only got a error that was of any use at all when I started from scratch and created a form from the 'webservice' template. Anyway, thanks ... Does this do this same thing? If so that didn't work either. When I preview the form, I can see the header and one blank line of the table, when I click the button to run the query it leaves the header and ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by JeniEck on 11-12-2009 Displaying results returned from a webservice Hi, I have written a webservice that takes 3 values and returns results form a database. Testing the webservice via the browser it returns the values I would expect. I have created a data connection to retrieve data in Infopath and set up the required fields for the query and the results and have set up rules on a button to trigger the ... Hi, I have followed the article below so that I can retrieve a list of sharepoint users into my form and then populate a person column for filtering purposes. http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/greg/archive/2005/09/08/Use-the-SharePoint-_27005B00_Me_5D002700_-Filter-with-a-Promoted-Property.aspx?CommentPosted=true#commentmessage This has worked ... I really need to get this working and being fairly new to this game I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Thanks Jeni Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by JeniEck on 07-31-2008 Re: Attaching form template to a forms library Hi, 1. Not completely sure what you mean here, but I updated the orginal template and then published that. The only difference being that the old template would published directly to the forms library and the new one needed to be uploaded and deployed as it is an admin approved one. 2. Have cleared the cache and this has made no ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by JeniEck on 07-29-2008 Attaching form template to a forms library Hi, I have had to update a form and the changes I made meant that it needed to be admin approved. I have uploaded, activated and deployed the form and from the site collection I can fill in and submit the form to the correct forms library. However, when I click on 'New' from the library itself I still get the old form. How do I attach ...
