Last » Re: Highlight Fields That Change Based on DropDown Value That sounds like it will meet my needs but it's a little unclear on how exactly to do this as I am fairly novice. Can you go into a little more detail on the process of setting up an attribute and triggering that a change has in fact taken place? I'm good on the conditional formatting. Thanks a lot for your reply! Posted to Controls (Forum) by e_stylzz on 07-23-2009 Highlight Fields That Change Based on DropDown Value I have a form that has a dropdown list with a few values. If the value "Amendment" is selected, I'd like to highlight any fields that change thereafter. Is this possible in anyway? Posted to Controls (Forum) by e_stylzz on 07-22-2009 Remove DropDown Item Based on an (Existing Change Event and the Dropdowns Selected Value at the time) I basically have two versions of the form (look the same just about) that is controlled by a dropdown. The values are New (default) and Extension. When the user opens an existing form, and changes the value to Extension, others things happen and are already in place, such has changing text box values to old text box values and moving ... Currently the userName() only pulls the first name, which works, but we really need to pull both the first name and last name. Any ideas? Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by e_stylzz on 02-09-2009 Problem Referencing XML Datasource. Scenario: I needed to find a way to use roles in a web enabled form which is not easily setup out of the box with Infopath. I following this post however which states that it can be done using an xml data source and some form open rules, and two hidden fields. Based on those steps, I have setup my hidden fields, and the current ... I started a "New Project" in Visual Studio and chose an InfoPath From Template. I was then prompted to where I could point to an existing file or template to base it off of. I pointed it to the URL on my published tempalte and it built the project. Then I just coped ...
