Phil. Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 10-21-2008 Backing up Database mappings? Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to backup the database mappings? I have DBXL installed on my laptop that I was using for testing it out and we are now going to roll this out to a permanent workstation. I'd rather not have to recreate the 300+ database mappings ;-) Any ideas on how I can migrate them to the new machine or ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 10-21-2008 Re: MyFormsWebPart question ... Hi Hilary, happy Monday! ;-) Thank you for the response on the WebPart. I’m not sure how my SharePoint team is going to take having to install an MSI like that on the server. I wish it were just a .dwp or .webpart file they could copy into a library directory; that would have more leeway. Do you happen to know ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 07-28-2008 Re: MyFormsWebPart question ... Thank you for the reply. While this article is helpful, I'd rather not have to reinvent the wheel. I had thought the MyFormsWebPart was an existing .dwp file that I could just import but it doesn't appear to be that way (unless I'm mistaken). And of course, sharepoint just says, you cannot import this file. ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 07-25-2008 Re: ADUserInfo key not working. Hi Ernesto. Eureka! That was it! Thank you for your help! Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 07-24-2008 MyFormsWebPart question ... Hello, I recently ran the qdabra myforms web part.msi and it installed correctly (or so it tells me when I try to reinstall it), but I can't seem to figure out how to add the webpart to my sharepoint site. I figured I could browse to the .webpart or .dwp but I can't seem to find it. Has anyone else installed the qdabra web ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 07-24-2008 Re: ADUserInfo key not working. Thanks Ernesto and Hilary. I used the LDAP tool and got back all the correct information. But when I run the GetMyInfo, I don't. Thew web.config file has the proper ldap://dc=ABC,dc=XYZ,dc=company,dc=com I also added the repeating table and connected the field to the GetMyInfo data connection but I still don't get anything ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 07-24-2008 Re: ADUserInfo key not working. THanks Jim and Hilary. The spelling is right for Key. WHen I go to the AD webservice (http://servername/QdabraWebService/ADUserInfo.asmx/GetMyInfo) and Invoke, I get the following... I did not get back any AD or LDAP results just this. My domain name is XYZ_HODC but in tweb.config, it was just HODC in 2 places. I ... Unfortunately, I'm having trouble with the form not populating the information. I added a rule to an "Author" field to fill in the value with key="cn" but nothing happens. I added a button to fill in the fields value and nothing happens. I then ... Posted to Qdabra Active Directory Web Service (Forum) by pmcdou2 on 07-24-2008 ADUserInfo key not working. Hello, I set up the secondary data connection according to the Getting Started docs but neither the email or the Logged-In AD user info is showing up in the fields. I've saved the form after making the new changes for these fields and re-attached it to the catalog. All else is working, now, form is submitting to DB and shredded ...
