• Re: INFOPATH 2007 AddDAYS FORMULA NOT WORKING IN BROWSER

You say you are developing in InfoPath 2007. I am thinking maybe you might have on SharePoint as default InfoPath 2003 and we all know that AddDays is available only in 2007. Are you saving it as 2003 compatible? If the above is not valid either, could you please post a template ? Maybe the solution would be more evident having the template to ...

  • Re: INFOPATH 2007 AddDAYS FORMULA NOT WORKING IN BROWSER

I usually work having in mind 2 datetime formats, English and Romanian. First thing I would check would be to see if the server has the same dateformat as my pc. Second thing I would use a try catch and send a lot of Ui.Alerts until I find the real problem.

  • Re: Calendar Month View

You just cant do what you want by just drag and dropping a control but I think you could do with a lot of effort to create a Master / Detail section in your form which could be filled with data depending on the month and person choosen. Instead of fields in the Master section you would have to put hyperlinks which will represent the days of ...

  • Re: Submit data directly to sql database

No, you do not need to learn web services. They are just another way to interact with the database. Please read the following article. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath/hp101070601033.aspx

I would also suggest to take into consideration the web services. Bellow are 2 very simple and yet so great posts of Janne Mattila which are dealing with InfoPath using web services. You can imagine that using web services you can practically go everywhere in the world and still be able to use your InfoPath forms with so little effort like you are ...

  • Re: Publishing InfoPath 2007 Form with embedded VSTA code in to production server

I have developed InfoPath forms with InfoPath 2007 and with code embedded and never had problems when I accessed them. The problems occurred only when I was trying to modify the forms template again on other computers. What I eventually find out was that creating Infopath forms with Visual Studio .NET solved any other issues. All you need is to ...

  • Re: filter data source from code

Hi Anuma, In that post is described the functionality of the "Show only entries with unique display name" check box which unfortunately is not helping me. Remaining at that example if I select a Year when I choose Insert item the next repeating row must not contain a dropdownlist with the previous Year values. From ...
