When I use VB.net to write the value in the SQL datasource to the Infopath field the value is written as a date and time value and doe snot pass validation for the field. I have also found the line of code.. And tried it and failed... That is the one of the examples where simply nothing happened... I beleive this is becuase the code is being run at the server... And last I knew server side code cannot run client side actions... Maybe I am incorrect??
