Is there any way i can call a method in the manged code from the task pane? for instance a validate before save method? Cheers

Womdering if it is possible to run infopath with parameters passed on the client from an Asp.net application? Anyone done this?

We have Sharepoint 2003, would like to use MS Office Forms Server 2007. What is required to run this? Full upgrade of Sharepoint or just install Forms Server?

Someone posted on another forum that it can be stand-alone without Sharepoint and of course other sites indicate that it requires Sharepoint. Seems excessive to have Sharepoint when all we require is infopath from the browser.

Hi, I am about to try infopath 2007, can i use Office Forms Server 2007 without Sharepoint? The point of the evaluation is to embed infopath forms within ASP.net application and submit to SQL Server. I've found documentation sparse on this as well. Any help appreciated.

Sorry for the confusion what i mean is: When i get the data from the webservice using the combo box bound to webservice is will set the dropdown to the approriate value. However, if this value is changed and i want to capture it to post back to webservice i cannot get the combo box value. hope that makes sense.

I have a dropdown list which have the values hardcoded. When i submit to the webservice i can get the selected value of the dropdown: this.thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//my:cmbRecommendation'').text; However, when i bind the dropdown with the database values returned from the webservice the above becomes blank. Any ideas?
