I changed the secondary data connection to sort on the item I wanted to sort. Easy peasy :-) Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-24-2018 Sort items in repeating table I'm still on the topic with the repeating table. I have a lookup to a list that once selected it shows all entries from that list with that Job Number. The entries in the list has different Item Types. When the item types are displayed, I want them to appear sorted alphabetically. How can I accomplish that? Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-23-2018 Re: Insert new Item in repeating table @ Jennifer Lindsay I found a solution! You create 2 buttons. One will submit and reopen a blank form. The other will submit and close. :-) My help came from the following post: https://wonderlaura.com/2013/05/01/infopath-save-and-new-button/ Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-21-2018 Re: Insert new Item in repeating table @ Jennifer Lindsay Hi Hilary, I get the following message: An error occurred while using the form. Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-15-2018 Re: Infopath form with repeating table Awesome - it works perfectly!! Thank you so much Hilary Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-12-2018 Re: Infopath form with repeating table Thank you Hillary, it seems we're on the track to the solution. But it only shows the sum of the current 'Resources' field you're in, it does not show the sum of all Totals where all Item Types = Resources. (I use Job No 3 for testing, it has 3 resources.) Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-10-2018 Re: Infopath form with repeating table Hi Hillary, here's my form. You're right, it should change to the ID, and the ID for 'Resources' is 5. You'll see on the form next to 'Resources' a calculated field, that is where I'm trying to add the totals where Item Type = Resources. I need to repeat that for all the Reimbursables and sub consultants as well. ... Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-10-2018 Re: Infopath form with repeating table Thanks Hillary, but my problem is, the list is a repeating table and the Item Type is a lookup field. When I enter the fx function, it returns '0' although there are items in the Item Type column/field. This is how my fx looks like: sum(Total[Item = "Resources"]) Posted to General (Forum) by Heste on 10-09-2018 Infopath form with repeating table I have an infopath form developed on a list with a repeating table.
