Hi mbenbow Thnx for replying. I Just bought Beginning InfoPath 2003 published by Wrox :( I guess I need some more hints on creating rules and code and as where in the editor to write. The forms I need to make are very complicated so complicasted that my english is not good enough. Regards Henny

Again a newb question im afraid. Who knows where i can find a tutorial about how to work with buttons and define them with code. I seem to be having problems with it still. In the meantime i work my way trough lengthy manuals. Thnx and regards Henny

Hi Greg, The last solution did work and is solved. However when I Added a rule to the ''Departments'' drop-down list which sets the value of the ''V-Code'' list it doesn't seem to work. I have 4 colums named ''number'' ''costperunit'' ''Vat'' and ''totalcost'' I can multiply number with costperunit and get the result in totalcost. Again guys, tnx...it worked I added the total of 7 different columns and put the result in another cel. Didn't think it would be that simple, i was thinking way to complicated.
