  • Re: Secondary datafields

Hello JCH. I had the same problem and I also got mine working the same way. I'm not very familiar to XML programming so I thought I'd ask you a question since you figured this out. I need to also take the secondary data source and connect to another datasource. The secondary data source holds an employee number. I need to take that number to ...

  • Re: Filtering text boxes in Repeating Section

I will keep seeing if i can find an answer on the web. I'm just doing analysis and building a small application to see how powerful this tool is so we could recommend it to potential clients, if we see fit. So far I'm just not having much luck with tasks that I feel should be easy to accommplish. Thank you for your help thus far.

One more note, I don't have a repeating table, I have two drop down lists and a text box. Maybe that's my problem?

  • Re: Filtering text boxes in Repeating Section

Is it just me or does this seem really complicated? I don't understand how using two data sources in one form can be such a hard task. :-) Matt, I just read that you can't update a secondary data source. The next part of the form that I'm going to have to do is going to update a different data source. Can I use seperate views to update ...

Hi Matt. I have a question similar to this and I've been working on this all day and haven't been able to figure it out. I have a form that has a drop down list for Customer and a drop down list for all the projects that correlate to each customer. I also have other fields for Project Manager and associated information. When a user comes into ...

  • Setting up access to SQL DB in Visual Basic

Hi. I need to set up some database connections in VB to a SQL Server environment. Does anyone know what I need to add to the managed code section in order to get this to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know somewhere along the line I saw something for this a while ago but all of this stuff is so new to me, I can't remember where I ...

  • Removing un-used Database connections

I realized that I needed to add more fields to one of my database connections. Since there isn't a way to change the connection that I created (that I'm aware of anyway) I added a new database connection. As I've spent more time in my first new form, I now have 3 extra database connections that I do not need as well as quite a few fields I do not ...
