I changed the line to this and it works. XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:VendorSelect[@number = ''' + r + ''']/@quotenum'').text = quote; However I get an error when I Insert a new record in the table. ''XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(...) is null or not an object.'' What could be causing that? Also, ... ''Site.parentNode is null or not an object''. Any idea's? Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-11-2006 Repeating Problem with Repeating Table I know this has been asked and answered many times, but I'm still having trouble relating the solution it to my situation. I have a Lookup field in a repeating table. When someone enters a value in the the field, it goes out to a 2nd data source and returns data. I want the record in the table to be filled with these returned fields. However when ... Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-11-2006 Re: Query a Secondary Data Source Ok, I believe I got it working. Thanks. Two more questions: How do I get a count of how many records are returned? Also, is there an easier way to get at the fields then this? Maybe through the adoAdapter object? If not that's ok. I was just wondering. var node1 = ... Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-11-2006 Re: Query a Secondary Data Source Well I thought I had it working. It only returns the first record in the table, regardless of the Vendor Number I use to query. Also, when I add the Second Data Source(VendorList) to the form, and it asks if you want to Submit, or Retrieve data, I specify Retrieve. But in the Data Sources view the second data source structure is ... Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-11-2006 Re: Query a Secondary Data Source Hi Agni, I got it working. Thanks for your help. Not exactly intuitive though. Am I the only one having problems with these simple tasks? I don't think I had this much trouble when I started in the industry 15 years ago programming in C/C++. Lewis Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-11-2006 Re: Query a Secondary Data Source Hi Patrick, Can you give me a link that talks about this? I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I havn't been able to find it. Thanks. Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-11-2006 Re: Publishing To Web Server Great! That works. I was trying to publish to a Web Site, then give C:\inetpub\wwwroot 1st andhttp://server/form.xsn 2nd. Thanks a lot. Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-10-2006 Query a Secondary Data Source I have a Secondary Data Source (VendorList) that I want to query and return a record with some fields, but I'm having trouble accessing the fields. I need a lookup field based on the Vendor Number. When they leave the field, I want it to lookup the 2nd data source for the Name, Address etc. and populate fields in the main data source. Below is ... Posted to General (Forum) by Lewis68 on 01-10-2006 Re: Publishing To Web Server Hi Thierry, I'm not sure I know what you mean. I can publish it to the actual shared folder of the website (c:\inetpub\wwwroot), but it won't open if I browse to it from the browser http://server/form.xsn). So how do(can) I manually change the published location of the XSN file, from (c:\inetpub\wwwroot) to http://server/form.xsn)?
