Posted to General (Forum) by rayzermatic on 01-06-2016 Re: Design Checker error that won't go away yep... I know I have indeed done both of those. so...now I have a new strategy, and will delete the rules before deleting a field containing them or a data connection. I know I must have billions of little orphans. haha that may be a bit (quite a bit) of an exaggeration. But...I bet I have a lot of em. :) Thanks again Hilary for sharing ... Posted to General (Forum) by rayzermatic on 01-06-2016 Re: Design Checker error that won't go away So, what did I do wrong to create the orphan rule. Maybe that's what I need to know so I don't make more of em. :) Posted to General (Forum) by rayzermatic on 01-06-2016 Re: Design Checker error that won't go away Yep...that did it. I was hoping to not have to do that, but I did according to your instructions. Another possible function for another installment of Qrules. :) Yeah, I've done the reminder already. That's how I discover I forgot to reset it after publish, as I usually click the "Open in Browser" link after publish to be sure I didn't introduce a goober that doesn't ... Posted to General (Forum) by rayzermatic on 12-04-2015 Re: Hiding section on form with Approver only view I don't where you are getting the "Approver" from your text, so I assume you are getting the approverID from a list or somewhere to populate your "approver list." Make sure you are comparing the username() to the approver ID and not their actual name. One thing I do is to force all comparisons of userName() to ... Posted to General (Forum) by rayzermatic on 12-03-2015 How can I determine if form is running in filler(preview) or as web page? - infopath 2010 Hi, I have started tracking all of my forms usage using a quick post to a SQL server via a web service I've created. This way we can run an analysis on all the form activity. It tracks Open, Submit, Update, Completion and Errors along with the date-time, FormType, FormID, Form Version, UserID, FormStatus and the XML form filename ...
