• Re: Save as equal to field-name

Hi You could try this code with an OnSaveRequest - Tools, Form Options, Open and Save, Save using custom code - it works for me and you may be able to adapt it for your button. Sub XDocument_OnSaveRequest(eventObj) Dim PositionName Dim InnovationUnit Dim SaveFile PositionName = ...

Hi Using IP2003 I have added a button with a rule set to 'submit to data connection'. For the same button I have added the following code (VBScript). Hi Try creating the hyperlink in MS Word (I'm using Office 2003). The tooltip for the hyperlink will show the path as file:///S:\filelocation etc. I have used this successfully to create hyperlinks to files in IP2003 Gary

  • Re: Traversing through rows in repeating table

Doh! Fixed this one myself. Previous code was trying to pick the field rather than the row. This works: Dim oComment Dim oLastRow Set oLastRow = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//my:myFields/my:Approval/my:Response[last()]") Set oComment = oLastRow.selectSingleNode("my:Comment") Gary

  • Re: Traversing through rows in repeating table

Jimmy I have tried the last() method (as mentioned earlier in this thread) to pick up the last row in my repeating table but it doesn't seem to work. It is picking up the first row of the table every time. Dim oComment 'creates value for Comment Set oComment = ...

  • Re: Handling "Failed Connection to Datasource Error" in infopath using custom messages

Hi I use the following VB code to check to see if the Access DB is in use with a Form Load event. It checks for the existence of the lock file (.ldb) then displays a custom message if the DB is in use. I don't know SQL but I'm sure it should have something similar. Sub XDocument_OnLoad(eventObj) Dim db As String = ...

  • Re: Infopath Suppress Open or Save Dialog

Hi Has anyone got any ideas on this one. I have a number of forms that users access through a web page on our intranet. Instead of the Open/Save/Cancel buttons on the form download dialog I would prefer to have only Open and Cancel showing. This would prevent the more absent-minded users saving a copy of the form template (.xsn). The only other ...
