Thanks for responding. At the top of my questionnaire, I have a header section with fields like Country, Entered By and Business Unit. The users want to show Business Lines (which are linked to Business Unit) so I put together a list in SharePoint, and set up a data connection to it and linked it to a multi-select list box...works ...

Here's what i don't get. At the beginning of my form I have fields that they enter into like Name, Country, Business_Unit..(which are at the top of the data source tree) .but the users added other fields like Name and Title, Number of staff, mix of business and they are located at the bottom of the tree. Hi Thanks for the reply but i am on IP 2007 and cannot open the document. until I get home where I have 2010. If the first dropdown is inside a repeating section and multiple values are selected will it still work. From what you describe, it sounds like it will.
