Posted to General (Forum) by glebur on 03-14-2006 image not displayed Hi, I have a logo image at the top of my form in each of my 16 views. In design mode the image appears normally but when a user opens the form, the image is often not displayed (there's a red cross instead). The xsn file is on my computer and I open it locally from there. Could it be because I designed most of the views by copy-pasting the first ... Posted to General (Forum) by glebur on 03-13-2006 Re: Updating XML data Hi Patrick and thanks for your answer. quote:Originally posted by Patrick Halstead You will have to create some mechanism to identify which images, etc. came from the XML file so that subsequent edits can overwrite them. In a database, this is easy to do using a key. I do have an identifier for each article in my database, and I use it as a ... Posted to General (Forum) by glebur on 10-04-2005 Updating XML data Hi, In all the Infopath samples and tutorials I've seen on the web, the workflow is limited to basic roles such as requester / approver, and once the contents is validated and saved, God knows what becomes of it. In other words, the workflow chain is a uni-directional dead end. But what if, once the XML data is stored, the requester wants to ... Posted to General (Forum) by glebur on 10-03-2005 Re: web service method with complex type parameter For now I have solved my problem by using a XmlNamespaceManager and referring to it each time I use the SelectSingleNode method : [WebMethod] public bool testInsertion(String s) { XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); doc.LoadXml(s); XmlNamespaceManager nsmgr = new XmlNamespaceManager(doc.NameTable); nsmgr.AddNamespace(''my'', ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by glebur on 09-20-2005 Re: web service method with complex type parameter Hi, I followed your recommendation and now the web service takes a string as a parameter instead of a complex type : [WebMethod] public bool testInsertion(String s) { XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); doc.LoadXml(s); try { string titre = doc.SelectSingleNode(''my:insererContenu/my:titre'').InnerText; with an ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by glebur on 09-19-2005 Re: web service method with complex type parameter Vt, don't get me wrong. I'm not calling you a MS propagandist at all. But the point is, I tried to set up a non-DotNet web service for my InfoPath form to communicate with. I created the wsdl myself, respecting the xsd standards and everything (the web service was in PHP, but who cares). It worked perfectly with a classical web service client ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by glebur on 09-07-2005 Re: web service method with complex type parameter Hi, I'm quite new to .NET so I don't really know how to deal with raw XML data in a C# Web Service. All I can do is code my WebService class and the methods, and .NET does the rest... Plus, what's the point of having such complex technologies as InfoPath and VS .NET if you can't take advantage of the integrated possibilities they provide ? I ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by glebur on 09-06-2005 Re: web service method with complex type parameter Shanthi, I've tried your method of calling a receive data connection. Here's the OnSubmit code I use : IXMLDOMDocument2 objSendXMLNode = (IXMLDOMDocument2)(thisXDocument.GetDOM(''insererContenu'')); objSendXMLNode.setProperty( ''SelectionNamespaces'', ''xmlns:s1=\''http://joelallxp.microsoft.com/schema\'' '' ... Posted to Web Services (Forum) by glebur on 09-05-2005 Re: web service method with complex type parameter Unfortunately, I can't test the web service by entering XML in the Visual Studio interface, because "the test form is available only for methods whose parameters are primitive types or array of primitive types". I've noticed another strange thing about my web service data source in InfoPath. When I look into the manifest.xsf ...
