When the user checks a box, certain choices are not available and should be obvious to the user that he cannot choose these options. What is the best way for InfoPath to handle greyed out controls? Hunt tracy@goisc.com www.fastflare.com Posted to General (Forum) by Fast Flare on 09-02-2005 Field titles in forms I have a question about field titles. When designing a form, I like to create the data source first, and therefore not have to rename the fields. But when I place the control onto the form, the data field title is shown with it. It would save me a lot of time if I could just type in the title to the field, since the data field names don't make ... The idea is to shorten the time it takes to type, and also to have the ''Findings'' comments ... I have a situation where a drop down list is not desired, but people have to type counties into a text box. Of course, if the county is not spelled right, there will be problems handling data submitted. Is there a way to tie InfoPath into Word, perhaps? T.
