Does anyone know what the maximum length of the ScreenTip on a control is?

In the XML Data Source, I have a node that can have multiple entries.  In this case I would normally use a Repeating Section on the InfoPath form.  There will ever be 0 to 3 entries for the node. Is it possible to create 3 separate views, each which populate one entry of the node in question.  Or am I going to need a Repeating ...
