Last » Form template not linked to New button any longer This morning, when I click on the New button in my SharePoint library, the InfoPath template doesn't appear. It asks to Add a document instead. Notably, the Files tab > New Document does open the InfoPath form. Any idea what might cause this? Thank you. This is called Conditionally Required since a checkbox Boolean FALSE is a valid value. So, you can create a hidden field somewhere in the form. I usually create a section and hide it if the authenticated user isn't me. When any of the checkboxes is checked, set the value of the hidden ... If you're hosting your form in SharePoint and want the line to wrap, include this in the Alternate CSS file for your SharePoint site: /*Fix word breaks in text areas*/ textarea{ white-space: pre-line !important; } Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by SeanPRyan on 06-14-2021 Re: Edit drop down list without affecting previously submitted forms Are you using Get choices from an external data source (If this is a list in SharePoint)?, If so, create a new column like Building Status. If each of the checkboxes are boolean (TRUE, FALSE) fields, select the first checkbox and create an Action Rule. If Checkbox1 = TRUE. Set a field's value Checkbox2 = true() - Use the Fx function button to find the true function. Set another field's value and so on. You may also want to set them back to false() when the user ... I figured this out, so I hope this helps someone else. Found this interesting that I never bumped into this before, but you cannot set the value of a people picker out of the gate if it is inside a hidden section unless that section is within the same one that helps show that section. Field in Section 1: ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by SeanPRyan on 06-11-2021 GetUserProfileByName fires on second change to dropdown I have a connection file on my client's site. The InfoPath 2013 form should set the current user 3 nodes when the dropdown changes. I compare this with a hidden counter field which is blank on new entries prior to submit. When I choose an entry from the dropdown, hidden sections show. The people picker is within the section. The rules ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by SeanPRyan on 06-10-2021 Background image for a table I am using InfoPath 2013. I want to place a background image in a table rather than in the body of the form. I saved my template out to a cab and extracted it. I edited view1.xsl and ran makecab in the command line to make a new template xsn. This works great in the infopath form but it doesn't transfer to the web browser enabled form once ... You'd need to set up the template word file. If that's agreeable to your org, look up combining word and metadata through quick parts. I am creating a new connection and then tying to the same target application id in Central Admin and it is working well.
