I can't select them from the AddDays picker. Maybe I need to approach this from a different perspective. Should I create a text field and then try to associate it? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by TxSteve on 04-03-2012 Re: Conditional Format with Date (if more than 31 days, change color to RED) I apologize, I follow what you are saying, just not sure how to write it. Would it be something like (@Created) +31. I tried this, and it passes the formula checker but it does not make it go red. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by TxSteve on 04-03-2012 Re: Conditional Format with Date (if more than 31 days, change color to RED) It's pulling the created date from a SharePoint list. I had to set it up this way because in a new form, there is no created date. So the field is hidden. However, if after its creation the form is opened by a user, the created field is displayed. Then there is the Expiration field. It too has the same hidden condition because with a new form ... Sadly, I am still struggling a bit. Perhaps a little more explanation may be helpful. Created: (Expression Box) concat(substring(@Created, 6, 2), "/", substring(@Created, 9, 2), "/", substring(@Created, 1, 4)) Expired: (Expression Box) addDays(@Created, 30) Within the Expired box ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by TxSteve on 04-03-2012 Conditional Format with Date (if more than 31 days, change color to RED) I have two fields. One displays a created date. The second is an expression field that looks at the created date, adds 30 days and displays that date. What I want is for the expression box to go red if the count is 31 days or more. What is the best way to accomplish this? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by TxSteve on 04-02-2012 Re: Can't Update Value when the Rest of the formula is Recalculated SP & IP v.2007 Update: So as a pseudo workaround, I added another field called CTotal. I removed the formula from the DDown box for C and added the formula to the new box. It sort of works... What is occuring is that it is not associating the correct formula values from line item 12 on my sharepoint list. Instead, ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by TxSteve on 03-21-2012 Can't Update Value when the Rest of the formula is Recalculated SP & IP v.2007 Scenario: I have a drop down box with multiple entries. I have associated rules on the DDown box that pass different formulas to another field called TotalBox. So if the user selects A from the DDown box. The formula is 1 + 1 and it displays 2 in the TotalBox read only field. Problem: I added a new ... Just needed a little push in the right direction. :) First I added a repeating section. Inside, I added an expression box and linked it to the SharePoint form list, Created column. I then created a condition that says, Created is not present - Hide this control. Then I moved to the next field. I added an expression box with ... (Conditional Formatting I presume) I will try to work on that, also definately not using a substring. I can try that too. Great tips!. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by TxSteve on 03-13-2012 Re: Display Created Date in SharePoint and have a second field that adds 30 days and display that too. Anyone? Allow me to rephrase... Maybe I've confused everyone :) I want to display the created date via a SharePoint form list and a second field that adds 30 days to the created date when a user is opening a form to edit fields. When I add these to the form and the user is trying to populate a form for the first time (new) the form fails to ...
