The repeating section has some stuff from the main data source in it. The repeating table receives data from a SQL database. I'm trying to use conditional formatting on the table to hide rows based on a value in the main data source. Every instance of the repeating section should have ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Rae on 09-08-2011 Trying to stuff a SQL-submit repeating table into a repeating section...is one-to-many better? Yesterday I asked a question about a SQL-receive repeating table in a repeating section, and I got an answer that probably would have been perfectly fine if the project spec didn't suddenly expand. Now, I need to put a SQL-submit repeating table in a repeating section. I created a form from a data connection, made the repeating table, ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Rae on 09-07-2011 Re: Repeating Table that queries SQL, in a Repeating Section Thank you so much for your quick reply. The spec for the project changed suddenly, but I may still be able to use this. It's nice to know that the little blue circles don't instantly mean the form can't work, either - I tried just using it and it looked like it worked; the conditional formatting caused other issues but that's a ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Rae on 09-07-2011 Repeating Table that queries SQL, in a Repeating Section I swear, every time I try to do something interesting in InfoPath, I run into a wall. Either the room is really small or I'm walking around blind (or both). The scenario is this, in its simplest form: In InfoPath 2003, I have a form with a repeating section. In the repeating section, I want to put a repeating table that gets data from ... [quote user="Patrick Halstead"]Have you tried to open the form up in the designer and click on Tools->Data Connections? You can add the connection to the XML file there and if you are still ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Rae on 09-02-2011 Re: InfoPath 2003 populating dropdown from SharePoint WSS Delightful. Any suggestions on how to do that? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Rae on 09-01-2011 Re: InfoPath 2003 populating dropdown from SharePoint WSS In Form 1, TestNumber is just a text box. In Form 2, testNumDropDown is a dropdown that's supposed to get populated by all of the entries available for TestNumber. It's getting the data through SharePoint. Is it possible I'm not hooked up properly, or am not sending the data to SharePoint completely? Um. I'm going to clarify a few things. 1. I have no idea what 70% of what you just said actually means. 2. I'm very new to InfoPath and SharePoint. 3. I've barely dealt with XML directly at all, ever. I've been working with the forms only through the "Design a Form" UI and ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Rae on 08-31-2011 InfoPath 2003 populating dropdown from SharePoint WSS Hi guys. I've been hunting for this answer and I can't find it/am running out of combinations of phrases to type into Google. The scenario is this: I have two form libraries in SharePoint, each matched to a different InfoPath 2003 form. Form1 has a repeating section. In this repeating section is a text box bound automatically to ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Rae on 08-31-2011 Page 2 of 2 (20 items) < Previous 1 2 Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
