SharePoint and InfoPath I will give that a try this afternoon and if I have no avail then I will be back, I do not beleive I have any custom code, I did mess with some coding in the updating of the form (which actually could be causing this problem anyway) Is there a way to check to see if someone prior had custom coding or is it one of those things that I would know I ... SharePoint and InfoPath Versioning is currently set to: "automatically update exsisting forms" does this mean that the schema error could be caused by something else? Posted to General (Forum) by Marksc on 08-25-2011 Re: Schema Error, Can anyone help? SharePoint and InfoPath Yes it has been changed, I was given the job back in June to update it and the whole process has been a mess ever since due to not having training in doing so. Is this "update exsisting XML's" option just a button I check during the publishing process or if it is something that if it was never done prior it is too late? Yes, that whole reason is a mess within itself, on my first day with InfoPath I was saving my progress, and I actually published it to my desktop, and then the file got deleted. I somehow have a copy/version of it that works just fine but only I can access it, so I was going to remake it in order to cut all ties with the published one, and then ... I am going to create a new .xsn template but want to pull the old xml's up in the new .xsn template. I am figuring that inorder to do so the "my fields" would have to be the same, unfortanitly I do not want to write out all 200+ fields again, letter by letter, ... Bump Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Marksc on 06-29-2011 Copy "MyFields" from one infopath template to another. I have about 80 xsn's each with well over 200 my:fields or data sources, I am looking to make a new template to view this data, I was wondering if there would be anyway to transfer my fields from one info path to the other so the process of switching out templates would go as seemless as possible. Thanks in advance. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Marksc on 06-29-2011 Page 2 of 3 (22 items) < Previous 1 2 3 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
