Particularly when everything works and hitting one buttons screws everything up without an error message. Thanks for your help. Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by jchilde on 05-27-2011 Re: Validation Errors - Unable to Save To List Except on computer creating form Okay, I solved my probem with validation errors with you help. Second page has required fields. If execute the command on page 1 (which does not save page 2 to list), you get validation errors becuase unrelated fields in page 2 that are required are not filled out. Any work around for this without brute force filling out ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by jchilde on 05-27-2011 Re: Validation Errors - Unable to Save To List Except on computer creating form Okay, I rebuilt step-by-step and...everything works. I wonder now if you may be on to something with the code issue. I attempted to re-inject qRules and started receiving an error about custom code. The box that opens that I am supposed to fix is empty. If I hit the custom code (vice rules) by accident, how ... I didn't add any custom code, altough it is possible that I hit the button and closed the window. That happens sometimes; however, I never would have added anything. Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by jchilde on 05-27-2011 Re: Validation Errors - Unable to Save To List Except on computer creating form Yes - it uses a rule only. I am slowy building it again step by step and checking it. No chance the fact that I use full trust could be causing this is there? Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by jchilde on 05-27-2011 Re: Validation Errors - Unable to Save To List Except on computer creating form By "can no longer execute the QRules command at all" I mean that after hitting the button to execute the qrules command, qRules doesn't indicate anything has occured (ie., no changes to the success check box and no error messages). Furthermore, the list doesn't reflect that anything has been submitted. To answer your ... I think I have found my problem. I recreated the forms and solved all my problems with validation. It appears that I had a double instead of integer that was causing the problem. That problem is solved. Thanks for you help above. Now, going my to why I ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by jchilde on 05-27-2011 Re: Validation Errors - Unable to Save To List Except on computer creating form I have tried to start over and still get the same error message. "The form has validation errors and the submit data connection cannot execute." I have attached a printout of my list fields and their settings. I have also attached my mapping xml. I will make a second post with my XSN. How do I go about troubleshooting ...
