Access db formatting gets the right number of digits on submission but it doesn't appear on the InfoPath query form. The form takes actual number with no leading zero if you try to view it in any way either by text box or expression box. Interestingly, the Access report view takes the formatting with the leading zeros ... Your help is much appreciated. I tried to copy the expresion boxes from one file to another. It didn't transport the formulas inside the expression boxes. Now I'm doing it by different views of the form. And every view has got different .xsl file. ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ashoke on 03-08-2011 Re: Quick Formula Editing - Find and Replace Hi, Thanks for your reply. In theory, it's possible by saving source files. But practically, there are many issues coming up to my form and cannot save time. For me, it didn't work actually. After editing the source files (.xsf), I couldn't get back to the original form. Don't know if there is any other easy way or not. ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ashoke on 03-07-2011 Expression Box Hello, In one of my forms, I have an expression box that will take value from a node called program. The expression box is taking value e.g. 25, 26, 27 etc. as entered in program field (drop down). I want the expression box to view "AT" instead of 25, "ON" instead of 26 and so on. How to do that? But I would prefer following simple solution which is a kind of same thing: Access AutoNumber field Format to "0000000000". It keeps the length of the field 10 digits long from right keeping the leading zeros. You do not need to create an InfoPath form field/node ... Thanks, Ash Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ashoke on 03-04-2011 Re: InfoPath cannot open the selected form Hi, I've seen your form. It's perfect except one little thing - signature. In design mode, go to Tools > Form Options > Security and Trust. Under Form Template Signature section (lower part) click "Sign this form template" and select one of your certificates. If you do not have your own certificate, just create one. ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ashoke on 03-04-2011 Re: How to select 2 fields to name form with code? Hi - I just have fixed the issue. It was my xpath problem. It should be "/dfs:myFields/dfs:queryFields/q:top/@PrgYear". It's now working perfect. Thanks, Ash Posted to Code (Forum) by ashoke on 02-24-2011 InfoPath Form and Access Database Hi Everyone, I am using InfoPath and Access combination for a project. It's working excellent and I'm very happy by its performance. In the input form there are about 1,000 nodes and in the output queries, there are about 5,000 formulas. Is it too much :). Everyday, my user's expectation is going high and high. The last thing was to ...
