I'm using 2010 here  Let's say I have a section named 'Facility', with checkboxes for any number of different facilities I would like to have a field in the Library called Facility, and when I submit the form, it iterates through the checked items and adds them to the Facility field, separated by commas or line feeds ...

Using 2010  I'd like it so that one textbox is populated with the now() function the first time it loads - - but once it's saved and/or submitted to the library, it keeps that date/time. So beyone setting a rule so that if it's blank, set the field value to now(), is there anything else or any other way this should be ...

When I insert a function for now(), it returns something like: 2010-12-15T09:23:06 I don't find a 'replace' with any of the functions. How can I remove the dashes, colons and 'T'?

The problem wasn't the rule, but where the rule was I was trying to put the logic in the rule for the DatePicker (where I also had a formatting rule to disable the DTP when a checkbox was false)  - once I put the logic in rule for the checkbox, it worked fine... thanks. Does development, and therefore, publishing templates, need to be on the SP server itself, or can it be done remotely? I've designed a template on my own computer, and want to publish, but when I try to publish, and give it the location of my SharePoint site, I get a message that the URL is not valid.
