• Re: Link an image to a tooltip

Better than that, I realised the image alternative text works as a tool tip in IE... good job I'm posting in the newbie section - and replying to my own post - which I believe is bad form?!

Nevermind - I found that linking the icon and editing the tooltip gives me what I'm looking for! ;o)

  • Link an image to a tooltip

Hi, Is there any way to link an image on the form to some kind of tool tip? I'm trying to add some help sections to the form where the user can hover the mouse over for more information & advice, but I'm not entirely sure how best to approach this. I know you can add them to fields etc, but I want something simpler than that... ...

  • Re: Set Focus Back To Top Of Page..

Interesting to see this again as I had to remind myself how I achieved this in the past just recently. As greg has posted, the only way I've also achieved this was to place a text box control at the top of the page and hide it by changing the fill & text colours to be the same as the existing content and remove any borders.

  • Re: Form has been closed - no redirect

Hi, It's pretty weird, and I've not deployed it in any other way than I've done previous forms. I ended up copying the layout over to a previously used form (instead of starting from a blank canvass) and that worked immediately on closing the form (and returning back to the sharepoint library). Very strange. Anyway - ...

  • Form has been closed - no redirect

Hi, I've designed a blank form, rather than use a previously built one and on closing the form it isnt' re-directing in the browser to the originating sharepoint library. It just shows the default 'Form has been closed' message, even though the &source tag is there in the URL. Can anyone enlighten me on this one? ...

  • Re: Detect office version installed

Apologies for the response back, but thanks very much for this - really appreciated. Can you tell me if this also works in the browser mode? I'm developing forms for SharePoint use, where InfoPath is not installed on the client machine. Thanks, Jason.

  • Detect office version installed

Hi, No idea if this is possible, but is it possible to design an infopath form which detects the version of office installed on the end users machine? Thanks, Jason.

  • Re: View Permissions

Hi Ted, Thanks for the response back. It's a 'view' within the InfoPath form itself, sorry for not clarifying. I'm just not quite sure how to link a sharepoint group to the editable view in the form. I was thinking about cross-checking the current user account with a sharepoint list which has a column in it with a ...

  • View Permissions

Hi, I have a form which on submitting I want to have an admin view to be accessible and updateable by admins defined on a SharePoint list, only. Any other user will go to a confirmation page - is this possible at all? I've looked at the extended workflow permissions that are possible from codeplex, but these result in an ...
