I'll follow these instructions and post my results. Sorry I didn't review the documentation before submitting the original post. Thanks, Stuart Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by stuartward on 09-08-2010 Error opening form from DAT When opening (by clicking on the green down arrow icon) a form from DAT I receive the following error: "The form template is trying to access files and settings on your computer. InfoPath cannot grant access to these files and settings because the form template is not fully trusted. For a form to run with full trust, it must be ... So, would it be possible to get a trial version of qRules - or if the new version is coming out soon, I can wait a few days. Thanks, Stuart Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by stuartward on 09-07-2010 Re: Add DocID to InfoPath 2007 form using DBXL 2.4 Hi Jimmy - thanks for all the additional information. My form does have additional code in it (there is a small amount of C# to interface with an external signature pad to capture the signature in a picture control). And since this is a new project, I can imagine user requirements evolving in the future that may require additional solutions ... When I looked at your instructions again, you clearly state to use the Download icon, so I apologize for not following instructions and wasting your time with this post. Just for my curiosity - when ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by stuartward on 09-06-2010 Re: Add DocID to InfoPath 2007 form using DBXL 2.4 Hi Jimmy - Thanks for your reply. I would like to try the qRules solution. On the Qdabra website, it states that the trial version of qRules 2.3 is "coming soon". Is there an ETA for this release, or is a trial available for qRules 2.2? Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by stuartward on 09-06-2010 Re: Add DocID to InfoPath 2007 form using DBXL 2.4 Thanks for your reply Ernesto. I have followed the instructions in the second of your links (Save Your Progress example) and all went well until I tried to open the form from DAT --- I received the following error message: InfoPath cannot create a new, blank form. InfoPath cannot open the form. To fix this problem, contact your system ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by stuartward on 09-06-2010 Add DocID to InfoPath 2007 form using DBXL 2.4 I'd like to add a field in an InfoPath 2007 form which displays the DocID (the form submits to DBXL 2.4). The scenario would be that the user would click a button and the field would then be populated with the DocID, but the form would still remain open for the user to keep working in. In this ... Thanks for posting a detailed description of how to create incrementing form IDs. Thanks, Stuart Posted to Hilary Stoupa (Weblog) by stuartward on 09-03-2010 Re: No schema could be derived with the current database connection string Thanks to Jim Cantwell at Qdabra, this problem is now resolved. For my development environment, I was using the pre-configured VHD of SharePoint 2007 from Microsoft which has the domain controller, SQL Server, and SharePoint all installed on the same VM. Accessing the IIS manager and changing the Identity property of the DBXL ...
