Last » Re: Changing the structure of an existing InfoPath 2010 form I've included mapping of the relevant areas of the InfoPath form to database or did you want the whole thing, as it's around 150 to 200 fields or so? Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by GedCT on 10-13-2011 Re: Changing the structure of an existing InfoPath 2010 form I've included a screenshot of the current schema which has a nested repeating element in there for collecting the actual consent form signed and associated date information. Essentially, I want the repeating element in it's own group and the non-repeating ones in a group together. The repeating group shreds into a different SQL ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by GedCT on 10-13-2011 Changing the structure of an existing InfoPath 2010 form I wasn't sure where to post this, as I think it's more related to InfoPath than DBXL, so please forgive me if it's in the wrong forum. Okay. I developed a form early on in my learning curve that I now want to amend to merge some of the groups that I used on the InfoPath form. Take, for example, inclusion criteria for ... Hi, I use the GetMyInfo procedure to record the identify of the person opening the form, not just as a post processing task. I set the receiving data connection to point to the DBXL web service and to access HTTP://server:port/QdabraWebService/ADUserInfo.asmx?WSDL. I then have a text field in the form called FormAuthor and I set the ... If I click on the number in the docs column, I get an error that says: I9999: An unhandled exception was thrown: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I assume that's ... If I try to convert the template containing all possibilities into one of the new ones that supports just a single sub study then it converts the ... Hi Ted and Hilary, Apologies for not posting back on this, but yes it seems to have done the trick. The XML include didn't work for me, but I've now placed a string field within the form which stores the document type name and all seems fine. Just need to get them to use the same columns within the form library now ... Thanks Hilary, I'll give it another try tomorrow morning and hopefully will be able to resolve the problem. Ged Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by GedCT on 01-24-2011 Re: Something I've done has changed the sharepoint linking - don't understand why. Hi Jimmy, I have an existing form library that users have been submitting forms to, but the design is too unwieldy. As a result, I've now split the form into four separate ones and hence now want to use these instead of the existing big form. The problem began with users being unable to submit forms and the error message received ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by GedCT on 01-24-2011 Re: Something I've done has changed the sharepoint linking - don't understand why. I've just created a new sub site to test this and if I use the DocumentService.asmx service then the form says that it's been successfully been submitted, but no documents appear in DAT. If I use DocumentServiceEx.asmx then it complains that it cannot find the document type. Don't know where to go with this now...
