But I want to go from a secondary source to Main. The attached photo shows my datasources. I want to copy (or Replace?) from the top one to the bottom one. I'm guessing I should use CopyTable. Although I used CopyTable before I'm not sure what would ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-28-2010 Re: Copy from one Group to another I don't understand. Each group has 2 text fields. How is it a structure mis-match? Do the text-field names have to match too? How can I do that when infopath doesn't allow fields with the same name within a single data source? Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-28-2010 Re: Copy from one Group to another Hi, Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I was modifying my question to simplify it, as you were responding. In my original question I forgot to specify the dsnamesrc. However, this didn't help. Could you take a look at the replaced question above?? Thanks, Dave Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-28-2010 Copy from one Group to another Hi, I have a non-repeating group of fields I want to copy to another non-repeating group. I'm not sure whether to use CopyTable or Replace. Also, I'm not exactly sure what Replace does. Does it copy the data into the corresponding fields (by field name)? Or does it replace the entire structure under the source and ... Dave Posted to General (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-26-2010 Re: How to delete a question. Thank you. Please delete this question. (unless you think it's useful). Posted to Feedback, Comments and Suggestions concerning InfoPathDev.com (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-21-2010 Secondary data connections with File Attachments I have a web service returning a dataset which includes File Attachments or Pictures. The data originally came from InfoPath File Attachments or Pictures (base64binary data). When I go through the data connection wizard to set up the connection, it correctly creates an item for the base64binary field. However, when I drag my new Group on ... Posted to General (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-20-2010 How to delete a question. How do I delete a question from here, once I post it? Assuming it has no responses. I cannot find a way to do that. Thanks. Posted to Feedback, Comments and Suggestions concerning InfoPathDev.com (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-20-2010 Can a Submit data connection also return data? I think this is similar to a question I asked earlier, which was "Why can't a secondary data connection be both submit and receive?" I wrote a web service that takes an Infopath Group as it's input (I'm passing the parameter to the data connection with: Include XML subtree & Submit data as string). I ... Posted to General (Forum) by David Fingerhut on 01-14-2010 Re: How to present a table to user to make a selection Hi, Yes, the final web service returns a new dataset based on selected employees. Currently that web service looks like this: public DataSet GetPersonTableFromPersonStringTable(personstring[] myRepTable). The original data does come in as a dataset. From that I pull out the personstrings above and use them in the ...
