Maybe it's not in the formula itself, but in the type of boxes? Or other settings? To be sure I've attached the form & the search-matrix. I've modified the xml a littlebit to make sure all values are 2 decimals. Take a look, hope you can find something! Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by cyberdhine on 11-16-2009 Re: fill in 2 values, receive the third Right now using this formula: xdXDocument:GetDOM("SearchMatrix")/data/dataRow[@rowValue = "../my:Alpha"]/dataCell/@colValue = "../my:Beta" the editor says: "the formula contains no errors". But when I test my form, the output is the value "false" instead of the correct value. I filled the two ... I've tried to find a program that could create such a list for me, but could'nt find one. This is great! I've been reading a lot of chapters concerning the xpath, but it's still all very "rocket-sciency" to me. I think I'll just go and try some things...I guess I ... Thanks Anis, this is exactly what it should do! I tried to create some similar solution, with grouping the groups otherwise, but couldn't get it to work. Great! Hope you also have maybe a solution for my other problem? This concerns the values ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by cyberdhine on 11-11-2009 Re: Repeating section but UNIQUE values? Hello, No I can't get it to open. Maybe because I'm working on a server? I can save the file, but trying to open it will give the error as in the attachment. Tring to open it, instead of saving it, I will get a box to fill in username and password? Hello Qazi Anis, Unfortunatly I can't open your document. I get a warning of security. Something like: "The file should be at location f://c:/documentsandsettings/anisq/......" This is translated from Dutch, so it's not quite exact.... Posted to Controls (Forum) by cyberdhine on 11-11-2009 Re: Repeating section but UNIQUE values? Hello Patrick, thanks for your reply. Maybe I had to mention that I'm an absolute beginner in InfoPath. These things I'm trying to do, I have done before in Excel. Only problem was that wasn't really clear to users. So therefore the idea came to make a nice form in InfoPath. I've tried to read the posts you mentioned, and I ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by cyberdhine on 11-11-2009 Repeating section but UNIQUE values? Hello, I'm trying to make a form for users, who can add some values, and the form will do the calculation. This form is for calculating daylight in a building. Now I have a section in which users can add for example a window, and type how much glass there is etc. This part is repatable, so multiple windows can be added. This works fine, ...
