• The following URL is not valid when publishing an InfoPath 2007 form to MOSS 2007

I just started having issues when publishing an InfoPath 2007 form to a MOSS 2007 site. I get the following error when publishing using the option "To Sharepoint with or without InfoPath Forms Services" in InfoPath: "The following URL is not valid: http://intranet.thesite" First of all, the URL does exist and it is valid. ...

  • Default file name when saving

Is is possible to change the default name of the file when you select the "Save" or "Save As" option in InfoPath 2007? Right now it's defaulting to Form1.xml (then Form2.xml, Form3.xml, etc). I basically just want to change it to something like BudgetRequest.xml (a more descriptive file name). • Re: Disable submit message on form close

I somewhat found a solution. I had "Save as" disabled on my form options. Now it turns out I need to enable the "Save as" functionality so I did. Now if I close the form half way through I get a "Do you want to save?" dialog instead of a "Do you want to submit?". This actually works for me. Not an ...

  • Re: Disable submit message on form close

It didn't work for me. I attempted to start filling out a new form and after entering data into a few fields I closed the form. I was prompt with the option to submit when I closed the form (because I entered data in a few fields). Thanks for your help though.

  • Disable submit message on form close

Let's say I have a basic InfoPath 2007 form with submit functionality. If I start filling out this form and decide I don't want to fill it out any more so I will close it. Since I already started filling out the form I get prompt with a message "Do you want to submit this form?". I don't want to see this message. I just want ...

  • Web based forms - displaying sections based on user/group

I'm having issues wrapping my head around conditional formatting and user roles in a web based form (InfoPath 2007). For example, say I have a web based form for cost approval. This web based form has 2 sections. The 2 sections include an employee section and manager section. When an employee loads the form I only want them to ...
