Last » Re: Copy field values in Repeating Section As you can see below, I'm a little stumped on the bit about the count function I haven't done much in the way of complicated formulas in the rules, so am a little confused about this and where things should go. I tried - count(preceeding-sibling::Clients) - but this returned an error and I'm not even sure I'm putting ... By rule, do you mean simply setting a fields value as itself as a normal rule on a button click event? As I've tried that with no luck unless I'm doing something wrong. I assumed qRules was needed to specify which row you were copying to and from. Thanks again Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by greenawayr on 12-07-2010 Re: Copy field values in Repeating Section Thank you Ernesto. Below is a screenshot of my datasource, with the repeating table that I wish to copy being Clients. This main datasource is received from a webservice. The fields I would want to copy are selected from the list to the right of the attachment, these would be the CustAddress1,2,3,4,5 and CustPostcode. As I said before, ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by greenawayr on 12-07-2010 Copy field values in Repeating Section Hi, I've just installed the trial of qrules to see if it can help with a problem I'm having. I'm sure it should be simple enough but I'm not seeing a solution yet so hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a form with a Client repeating section, all I want is for a button that allows our user to copy across the ... As you can see I have a group called (Choice), I presume this is a group that ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by greenawayr on 11-23-2010 Programmatically add an instance of a Repeating Section Hi, I have a browser enabled form template based on a webservice that is connected to a SQL database. On my form I have a simple dropdown box, which when a certain value is selected requires a new part of the form to appear and be filled in. The easy way to do this seemed to be Conditional Formatting, however, because the form is connected to ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by greenawayr on 11-22-2010 Re: Rules triggered by Repeating section Hi Jimmy, I've got the conditional formatting to work, and I've added a column to the table for Fullname, however I then place the dropdown box that has the conditional formatting applied, into a different section as planned, and set it datasource to the FullName node. When I enter the first client into the form, a new line appears in the ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by greenawayr on 11-03-2010 Re: Rules triggered by Repeating section Thanks Jimmy, I am looking to populate the dropdown box with a concat(Forename, Surname) field. Failing that, just making it visible and pre-populating it with Client A, Client B and so forth. Posted to Controls (Forum) by greenawayr on 11-02-2010 Rules triggered by Repeating section I'm developing a form with a number of repeating sections, and I was wondering if it is possible to use rules, conditional formatting or code to dynamically change a form based on how many instances of a repeating section there are. For example, Repeating Section 1 is Clients. If you have one client, there is one instance of the repeating ...
