I don't follow the article since it's talking about pulling data from a repeating table. I want it to pull from AD? I hope I don't sound too Infopath illiterate............. Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by riehmc on 02-23-2009 Re: Drop down list of users in company Still can't get it to work. If I have a gpContactSelector with the 3 strings (DisplayName, AccountID, AccountType), can I add a string here called Email? Can you help me go through step-by-step? Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by riehmc on 02-23-2009 Re: Drop down list of users in company I followed your blog instructions to the letter except for this part, I can not find what you are referring to -- "In data source pane choose main data source. Double click at replyToControl group". Where is the replyToControl? I need the Company and Telephone fields from AD, not necessarily the email, ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by riehmc on 02-23-2009 Re: Drop down list of users in company I have 2 contact selectors on my form and both are working. I would also like to have text boxes bound to fields from the contact selector. If I bind a text box to the DisplayName, the name shows up when a user is entered. It has also worked for the AccountType. But if I create another field within the contact ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by riehmc on 02-20-2009 Re: display name / value I figured it out. I have recently changed the drop-list to a textbox on the 2nd screen and this created a default value of 0 that muxed it all up. Once I deleted and recreated the original drop-lists boxes it worked like a charm. The only thing that still kind of bothers me is the empty space that is in the drop-list ... Is there a way to make one of the entries a default value so the drop-down keeps its "Select..." label on it? Posted to General (Forum) by riehmc on 01-27-2009 Re: display name / value What if your not using a data source and want the display name to appear instead of the value on the 2nd view? Posted to General (Forum) by riehmc on 01-26-2009 Re: Confirmation screen then approval sent via Notes. How do you get a drop-down list box on page 1 to show the display name and not the value on page 2? 0 - Select (default) 1 - Install 2 - Existing I know that you can use the "install" and "existing" as the value but I have numerous drop-downs that would have to be redone. Is there an easier way to ... Posted to Workflow (Forum) by riehmc on 01-26-2009 Re: Confirmation screen then approval sent via Notes. Thanks that was much easier than creating a separate form. I also like your idea on the formMode views but I need some direction on how to set up. I used text boxes on the second view to pass the data but would rather use another method if you have an easier one in mind. What needs to be done to make a "next" button on the "request form.xsn" transfer you to another form called "confirmation screen.xsn". The second form contains the xml from the previous form that can be reviewed before hitting the "submit" button Posted to Workflow (Forum) by riehmc on 01-22-2009 Page 2 of 3 (22 items) < Previous 1 2 3 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
