We have noticed that the manifest has some relative paths. We tried to address this in a December build of DBXL v2.4, but it may be that your copy is previous to that.

When configuring the tool, the tool requires that you provide a template.xml file (and the path is entered into the configuration). This template.xml is where the href comes from. You can modify the href for the template.xml, run the tool again, and the resulting xmls will contain the new href.

Thank you for the XSN. On one of our machines, where ShP mapping works for other forms, I get the same error you do. In addition I see that the XSN generates some eventvwr errors. At the moment, I do not know why this XSN is causing this error but we are investigating.
Can you try creating a doctype with ShP mapping using the attached XSN? ...

To attach a file, click Reply, then switch to the Options tab. You'll find the attachment control there.

You mention in your original post that DBXL and SharePoint are on the same machine. Was DBXL installed to the SharePoint - 80 site?

One option we could try is to allow DBXL to create the Form Library. This means:
1. Let's assume your form library already exists at http://<servername>/<formlibname>/Forms/AllItems.aspx
2. Delete the form library
3. Return to the SharePoint mapping in DAT and enter the URL, for example: ...

Please check the settings on the Close button. There is an option to warn users about changes made to the form.
If that doesn't work, try going into Form Options and disabling Save and Save As.
