Sounds like what you need to do is write some code in your OnLoad function which copies the values from your secondary data source to the main data source.

Glad you got it fixed!
Just a side note... I've since learned that you do not need the first .= in the XPath... You can shorten the XPath like this:
Entry: /Cities/City/@state[not(. = ../preceding::City/@state)]

Hi. I'm not sure I understand your question... what exactly are you trying to do?
It sounds like you have a secondary data source that the user enters values into, and you want those values to be in the main data source so that you can send the form (with those values included) via email to someone.
If this is the case, you need to have some ...

The functions you are looking at call from the form code (JScript) into the task pane code (also JScript). The reason being is that the task pane can work with timers, and the form code cannot (unless you are using a .NET language).
So basically, the OnClick handler calls a function in the task pane code.

if you want to eliminate the spacer column, just change the padding on the columns instead.

You can do a search on Google Groups... there was a discussion a long while back in which someone showed how to have a table repeat horizontally instead of vertically... but it sounds like you will want to repeat in both directions... I'm not sure what this will take.

You need to go back to the original source that the drop-down list is populated from. Then you filter that list based on the value of the field to which the drop-down is bound (@my:dataFilter) and grab the display name from that filtered list.

Glad to hear it! Do you mind sharing your final solution?

Let's assume your drop-down list displays ''name'' and stores ''id'', and is bound to ''field1''. Let's also assume you want to populate ''field2'' with ''email'' when the drop-down value changes.
Let's assume you have a secondary data source named ''sql'' with a repeating list of ''person''s that you are getting the values from.
You will use ...

You are not able to do this. The best you can do is have directions indicating that the user should select a specific printer when they print.
