Very embarrassed.
I accidentally uploaded a form template which I originally meant to demonstrate various 'blue highlighting' issues - but I decided to just upload the 'solution'.
I looked back today and found I had uploaded the wrong one! If you have downloaded the previous template - you only need to look at View 3.
Otherwise, ...

Revisintg his post - and seeing the 'let me be clearer' bit which I may have missed first time around, or is new information, I have the following suggestion.
Instead of having a sequence of expression boxes themselves each conditionally hidden, stick them in a sequence of sections (one per expression box) that are conditionally ...

Is it suitable for you to use a date-time stamp? It's just an idea I've thought of.
Some things:
1. If only you needs to know the 'reference' id of your order, then you can simply put a default now() value into a field - sometimes I change this to be when the user submits - this gives you a date time stamp to use which also you ...

Then set the text box as read only and change the formatting to look like an expression box.
Not sure if this is what you are after.

I have attached a demo form (Infopath 2003) with some instructions on setting up a view with repeating sections or tables to never have any blue highlighting and also use buttons to add and ...

ok, your remaining problem is how to let users delete a row seeing as you have disabled the built in delete options.
Add another column to your repeating table (this sometimes creates a new field in your datasource,so don't forget to delete it) and put a button in the column (I usually put a lowercase x on it to indicate ...

Merry christmas!
Does the New ActiveXObject command work for you in code or does it force you to level 3 security? (which is fine I guess if you can do that as well).
Try the following function
[jScript]
function saveFormAsFile()
{
var strFileName = "formName.xml"
var xmlDoc = XDocument.DOM.xml;
var objFSO = new ...
