Hi,
If it is the script then using ActiveX control needs full trust to your form. There are two ways to continue here,
1. Use .net as your code behind and there you don't need full trust to get logged in username.
2. Use AD service webservice to get the loggedIn user details.

Hi Will,
Which XML field are these 4 values binded to? What do you mean by 3 pages? Is it 3 views? Can you please make your question clear.
-
Hi Karsten,
You need uncheck the option ''Automatically retrieve when form is opened'' when you are taking the connection and query the webservice ''on button click'' or in the code.
You can add rules to your button to query the dataconnection.
In the code you need get the webservice adapter and query that.

Hi,
Yes you are right you cannot call switch view in the same method, because view does not view when you call it, it will switch after the execution of the current method. So you can probably call switch view second time in the OnSwitchView() method.
Other idea is to call switch view method from the taskpnae.

Hi PleKy,
If your button is outside the repeating section, then you need to filter to which ro you want to set value. This cannot be direcly done in the UI, so you have to write the code to get the correct node and set the value.
What you have specified is a workaround and it is not good to do such workaround unless untill necessary.

GetListItems is the method that should help you.
You can look at the following links for more info on lists

Hi Fred,
I think you have answer in your question,
Maintain two lists and bind one each to the two dropdown. Initially your second dropdown does not contain any values.
When you click on add button, you will prepare a node of the second list and append it to the second list.

Hi PleKy,
Welcome to the Forum!
Where is your button? Is it inside the repeating section?
If it is inside the repeating section then it will update that row itself.

Hi,
Other option is simple and advisable than xd:preserve,
copy all the values that you want to show in the dropdown to repeating nodes(2DS) and bind the dropdown to show those values.
